What is the Pinto (8U) Division:  Expanding on the basics, Pinto continues to work with the young ones on fundamentals and rules of the game.  We play approximately the first half of the season as coach-pitch and then transition to player-pitch for the last half of the season.  The goal is to get players learning to pitch and hit from kid-pitchers as soon as possible.  Practice will begin in early March and teams will play a 12-15 game schedule ending in mid-June.  Limited local inter-league play.  All-star season for 8U continues through July.

Teams are assembled closer to the end of February.  Plan for 3 days of baseball per week (no Sunday's) from March to mid-June.  Practices begin the first week of March.  Games begin in April.  Once games begin, the goal is one weekday game and one Saturday game per week, with one practice per week.
